This in-service is designed to familiarize FBI agents and analysts of the benefits of analysis and exploitation of illicit records from organized crime and racketeering activities including sports bookmaking, Internet gambling, loansharking, prostitution, drug trafficking, and informal value transfer business (hawalas). Students increase their knowledge and understanding of complex organized crime activities and Laboratory record analysis capabilities through case studies, presentations, and practical exercises.
